Often called Tanzania’s hidden gem, Tarangire National Park offers a rugged, quiet contrast to the more crowded northern safari circuits. Located slightly off the beaten path, it is a landscape dominated by iconic, ancient baobab trees—some thousands of years old—and carved by the life-giving Tarangire River.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a stunning, UNESCO World Heritage site located in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. At its heart lies the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a massive, unbroken volcanic caldera formed millions of years ago. This self-sustaining natural haven drops roughly 600 meters from the rim to the crater floor, creating a unique ecosystem that boasts one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Nature Pulse will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Settle in, relax, and enjoy your overnight stay as you prepare for the exciting safari adventures that await you.

Day: 2 Tarangire National Park
In the morning, your personal safari guide will collect you from your lodge in Arusha, and your adventure begins as you journey towards Tarangire National Park. Traveling along a smooth tarmac road through the gently rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees, you’ll witness local Maasai communities in their vibrant traditional attire, walking along the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and guiding donkey carts.
Famous for its impressive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers an incredible wildlife experience. From the open roof of your comfortable safari vehicle, you’ll explore seasonal swamps, sweeping savannahs, and the life-giving Tarangire River while searching for a wide variety of wildlife including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and elephants. With a bit of luck, you may even spot lions stalking their prey or leopards resting gracefully in the trees above.
After an exciting full day game drive, you will continue to your carefully selected lodge where a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay await you in spacious and comfortable surroundings.

Day: 3 Ngorongoro Crater
Rise and shine! After an early breakfast, you will depart for the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its breathtaking scenery and extraordinary wildlife.
Upon reaching the crater rim, you will descend along a steep track into the spectacular 600-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to more than 25,000 animals, including the famous Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard — as well as an incredible variety of other wildlife and over 500 bird species.
Enjoy an extensive game drive across the crater floor while taking in the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, followed by a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening with unforgettable safari memories.
